My Practice
I am an experienced, qualified Counsellor who has been working in private practice for five years. I have a background in nursing and health service management.
I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work to their Code of Ethics. The BACP is a professional association of qualified, experienced Counsellors.
My approach to counselling is humanistic; this approach puts you, the client, at the centre of the counselling process. My theoretical base is person-centred/existential, which means that I work with the belief that everyone can find the best way to live his or her life given an environment which encourages their own capacity for understanding themselves.
Sessions are 60 minutes long and cost £35 for an afternoon session, £45 for a morning session and £55 for an evening session which is 6pm,7pm or 8pm.
I work one to one with clients on the basis of absolute confidentiality and offer both short-term, 6-12 weeks, and long term counselling.
